Tells us a little about yourself.

I was born and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana (Go Cavemen!), but I moved to Indianapolis when I was 19 and have  lived here ever since. I received my undergraduate degree in English from IUPUI, with a concentration in writing and literacy. My husband and I got married and bought our first house together in 2016. Together we live with our two crazy pups, Scout (a 14-year-old beagle) and Darcy (a 5-year-old Labrottie). Currently, I work as the membership, engagement, and analytics manager at an association management company, First Resource LLC. When I am not working, I try to stay active in the Indianapolis community through various YP groups, explore new bars and restaurants around the city, go hiking with my dogs at Eagle creek, read books on my couch, play cards (Euchre, anyone?), or just relax and binge watch Netflix with my husband.

What is one thing about yourself that would surprise people?

I am a huge Disney fan, but I have never been to Disneyland or Disney World! :(

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who are chronically late. Although, when another driver doesn't do the "thank you" wave when you let them cut in front of you is a close second.

What was your favorite TV show/book growing up?

Growing up, I loved the watching the original Tom and Jerry cartoons, and I would read anything by Beverly Cleary.

What is your favorite cereal (or breakfast food)?

Hands down, Reese's Puffs. No other cereal even comes close!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

I would want the ability to teleport. I would never be late, lower my carbon footprint, and never, ever have to wait at an airport again.

Why did you want to get involved with Circle City Connect?

I LOVE Indy! There are so many opportunities to experience new things and meet new people and make this city feel like home. Being part of an organization that helps to facilitate those opportunities and highlight the city I love is something that gets me excited.
